Bal-Musette

Bal-musette is a style of French music and dance that originated in Paris in the late 19th century, particularly associated with the working-class ballrooms of the city, known as "bals musette". Its roots can be traced back to the popularization of the musette (a type of bagpipe) and the coupling with other folk instruments like the accordion, which later became the dominant symbol of the genre.
