CDMX indie is a Mexico City–rooted strain of independent pop and alternative music that blends DIY intimacy with the metropolis’s restless energy. It moves easily between bedroom synth-pop, lo-fi guitars, and sample-forward R&B, often colored by Latin rhythms and street-level folk storytelling.
