Necrotrap is a distorted, animalistic genre of hard electronic music created by NECROSOCIETY, fusing trap, metal, drum and bass, and dubstep with horror, terroristic, and hacking aesthetics." Its stylistic origins are trap, metal, drum and bass, dubstep, industrial, and EDM; the typical sound is distorted 808s, industrial synths, heavy percussion, and screamed/processed vocals. It is a sub-genre of trap metal that stands on its own.
